The Get Lit Mission

With over 15 years in the beauty industry, I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of makeup. I’ve seen women light up with confidence, walking away with their heads held high after a makeup application. But too often, I could sense that glow was only temporary—fading the moment the makeup came off, if not sooner.

Through countless conversations with clients, a clear pattern emerged: women were investing so much into their outward appearance, yet often neglecting the beauty within. Time, energy, and resources were poured into perfecting the outside, while their inner worth, confidence, and true identity remained untouched and undernourished.

 

That realization led me to found The Get Lit Mission—a movement birthed from a deeper calling to help women rediscover who they are in Christ. Ephesians 2:10 tells us that we are God’s masterpiece, created anew in Christ Jesus to do the good works He prepared for us long ago. You weren’t made to dim your light, to fit in, or cover your insecurities—you were created to shine with purpose, confidence, and beauty that radiates from the inside out.
